Annual Letters to Friends
2000
This being our Annual Letter, you could rightly expect a recitation
of the events of our lives during this past year. But this year was not
about events for us. It was about relationships and friendships – their
strength, their fragility and, ultimately, their overwhelming importance
to us.
So, please, hug your friends. Kiss your children. Gaze deeply into the
eyes of those you love and tell them how you feel. We know we will.
Our thanks to our friends for their warm hearts and great generosity.
We wish you the very best that the coming year can bring.
